Calvin Harris’ new direction marks a significant departure from his past EDM hits, aligning closely with the radio-friendly, hip-hop sound dominating mainstream radio at the moment. His new album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, includes already released collaborations with , and , but much the album has yet to be heard…until now.

Harris shared the Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 preorder link to his social media accounts, and also included a great teaser video that previews a few new collaborations courtesy a skilled scarlet macaw. Among those collaborations heard are tracks with Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and more. The sampling the album so far indicates a very R&B, hip-hop fusion direction for Harris, a 180 degree turn from his EDM-rooted history. While a full tracklist is not yet available, the pre-order link confirms the album will span ten tracks.
