Rick Ross just struck a huge plea deal in the 2015 kidnapping case in which he was accused holding his groundskeeper hostage and pistol-whipping him.

According to TMZ, Rozay pled no contest to one felony count aggravated assault, and the other felony charges were dismissed. He also had to pay a fine $10,000.  Once paid, the felony count will be permanently removed from his record.

The judge did give Ross five years probation since he pled no contest to several misdemeanors including battery, assault, two counts aiming a gun at someone and having less than one ounce marijuana on him. But he’ll be able to travel freely during the probation.

Right after receiving the news, Ross spoke outside the courtroom.

When he got home, Ross recorded himself removing the ankle monitor that he’s been wearing since first being charged and he couldn’t look happier.

Meek Mill and DJ Khaled congratulated the rapper on their Instagram pages, which you can see below.
