Nicki Minaj always says exactly what’s on her mind – straight, no chaser.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, the rapper made it clear she has no time for racist double standards. She spoke out about the unfair criticism she ten receives that White women are largely exempt from. Using Kim Kardashian West’s infamous nude selfie as an example, she told the mag, “When Kim Kardashian’s naked picture came out, [Sharon Osbourne] praised it, and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite.”

Nicki was referring to the time Osbourne tweeted out her own nude selfie, writing that she was “inspired” by Kardashian West and felt “#Liberated.” Meanwhile, she criticized the cover image Minaj’s 2014 single “Anaconda,” saying on her show The Talk, “That looks like a cheap porno cover a DVD… I love women’s bodies. I love nudity, but that is cheap.”

"Jay Z did such a great job being an authentic street guy and a businessman, and I was like, 'Why aren't there women doing that, taking the success from rap and channeling it into their empire?' Anything he can do, I can do." —Nicki Minaj in Marie Claire's November issue. #NickiforMC

Nicki continued, “So it wasn’t trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it, but it was when a black woman did it? It’s quite pathetic and sad, but that is my reality, and I’ve gotten accustomed to just shutting it down.” This isn’t the first time Minaj spoke out about the injustices she faces as a curvaceous woman color.

Just ahead the 2015 Video Music Awards, Nicki unintentionally sparked a feud with Taylor Swift after not receiving a Video the Year nomination for “Anaconda” that year. She wrote on Twitter, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will nominated for vid the year.” Although she wasn’t specifically speaking about Swift, the singer chimed in and added fuel to the fire. Clearly, that hasn’t stopped Nicki Minaj from voicing her opinion on racist double standards.

Every Time Nicki Minaj Fought For Women

1. "If a man did the same video with sexy women in it, no one would care. You’re talking about newspeople who don’t even know anything about hip-hop culture. It’s so disrespectful for them to even comment on something they have no idea about. They don’t say anything when they’re watching the Victoria’s Secret show and seeing boobs and thongs all day. Why? Shame on them. Shame on them for commenting on “Anaconda” and not commenting on the rest the oversexualized business we’re a part ."

2. "People try to make such a big deal out when a woman stands up for herself. Why? Because I see people walk on egg shells around Wayne. I see people walk on egg shells, I'm pretty sure, around Jay. Around Em. Around all these men."

3. "I talk about that all the time, I talk about record executives telling me, 'Oh no no no. Female rappers don’t make it anymore. You’ll never get away with that, and you’ll damn sure never get away with rapping and singing.' People who I loved very much attempted to deter me from experimenting with my craft, but I felt I represented all kinds girls, not just one girl."

4. "I have a lot freedom to be crazy. I can rap in a London accent, make weird faces, wear spandex, wigs, and black lipstick. I can be more creative than the average male rapper. And I can show my boobs. Guys can't do that."

5. "I've always had this female-empowerment thing in the back my mind—because I wanted my mother to be stronger, and she couldn't be. I thought, 'If I'm successful, I can change her life.'"

9. "Every woman is multifaceted. Every woman has a switch, whether she’s going to be maternal, whether she’s going to be a man-eater, whether she has to kick ass, whether she has to be one the boys, whether she has to show the guys that she’s just as smart or smarter, she’s just as talented or creative. 18. "I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose, I take ownership it, because I really am in charge what I do. There are a lot strong male rappers, who’ve influenced me a great deal in terms my skill, my flow, and my business-savvy side. But at the end the day, I still want to inspire women. "
