Kevin Abstract releases the second single from his forthcoming album “American Boyfriend.”

Kevin Abstract is getting ready to release his sophomore album American Boyfriend. Earlier this week, he shared the album’s second single, “EMPTY. Co-produced by Michael Uzowuru, who was worked with Frank Ocean, Vince Staples, and Earl Sweatshirt. the song features a tuba-and-piano combination that perfectly conveys Kevin’s high school angst. “I hate my yearbook photo. I hate my passport, I hate my last name, I hate everything it stands for. I should probably fucking transfer,” he raps dispassionately before launching into an infectious saccharine hook.

The comical, slightly-NSFW video follows a love triangle between Kevin, a girl, and the local high school football star.
